the thing is, the police shouldnt be taking one persons word over the other.
We arent here to go round dispensing finely tuned justice.

The police should keep the peace, identify criminal allegations and deal with them if they arise.

But when one person says one thing and another says something else, the police will often go straight down the line, and if one party doesnt get things their way, they will see it like the police are siding with the other party.

or is there another party involved who may be corroborating the others sides story?

Im not saying this is definately you, but its something to think about.

But also think, the thing your having an issue with your neighbours about, is it really a criminal issue for the police

or could it be solved with some good communications skills from you both and a mediator?

just food for thought.

im a copper and lets face it, your not going to please everybody all of the time. nobody will begrudge you if you dont like us for whatever reason, its up to you.

Im not against all police officers, but some of them DO NOT look at the facts. They don't want a difficult life so a quick name in a book or an arrest is of statistical value and will eventually get them promoted. If you ask me I would say PARTIAL bits of the law are corrupt NOT ALL of it just some. But it's rediculous how there are rapists and murderers and whatever other scum on the streets and they are there arresting sombody for dropping a ciggarette bud on the floor, I mean come on it's all the GOVERNMENTS fault in the first place get more time if you don't pay your fines than what a rapist gets. What the hell is this world coming to, next they will be telling us monkeys are drug lords!

The police don't take sides, they judge evidence as presented and take the appropriate action. If your not happy with the reaction or lack of it,then your free to complain to the Chief Constable airing your grievances

Are you a young male or are you none white? If yes is the answer to either of those questions then the police won't help you.

I have had similar experiences with the prats.

I dont dislike the individual officers but my experience of the police has been theyre neva there when you need them. My neighbours out our windows through cos one of my brothers call one of them a prick. The police saw them do it but couldn't act as witnesses cos they said it was a domestic.

Denny, you ignorant dickslap. Police tend to believe what the evidence suggest. In this case, they apparently believe your neigbors which I am inclined to believe they are correct.
