If I have a court order to freeze my current bank account due to credti cards unpaid bills, and they in fact do it, can I just open another bank account?

They will just freeze the new account.

Deal in cash.
If you have to have a bank account, open it with someone else as the primary and you as the secondary.

Hmmmm.

That depends if the 2nd bank is dumb enough to neglect performing a credit check on a relative stranger who wants to open a checking/savings account.

By the way, this would be the same stranger who is ducking and dodging her credit card bills to the point that her first banking account is frozen (which I think would hit the CHEX system anyways).

You can, but within a month or two the new account will be frozen as well. They have your social security number, they can track you anyplace, including garnishing your wages.

Your best bet is to get a cash job and use money orders until the statute of limitations runs out. However, it will be simpler to pay your debt.

No...you will get it frozen too. You have to wait till the court battle is over.

why don't you talk to them and work out a plan both of you can live with i'm sure you want them off your back and they want paided.
