I have been driving an 1989 z28 camaro for 3 years & it's not at all practical for someone like me. It was garage kept its entire life until I started driving it & now it's starting to show signs of wear in the Florida sun. Since it's my parent's car, it's time for me to purchase my own so we can preserve this one while it's still in excellent condition. With that said, I would like some ideas you might think would be a suitable vehicle for someone like me.
I'm 19, female, I would like a 2-door, no more than 6 cylinders, new/used doesn't matter, NO HYUNDAIS/KIAS, under $20K, nothing fancy. My driving usually pertains to/from my 9-5 job and to the beach on the weekends. I want something that has a very smooth, quite ride. I also like SUV's but cannot find many under $20k. What would you suggest?

Check Out the new Dodge and Chrysler products. The dodge caliber and the Jeep Liberty (the have a smaller version of the liberty forget the name) both come in at under 20g's and are good looking vehicles. You could probably get a great deal on an 06.

A great affordable SUV is the Honda CR-V. They're great, as are the Toyota Rav4s. Cars 2 or 3 years old typically have the best value.

Look for a used Honda or Toyota. For under $20K, they might be older and/or higher mileage, but they're good cars that last a long time.

I have a chevy cobalt. Its white 4 doors with all the bells and whistles. Paid only $13,000 for it. Smooth ride etc. Excellent little commuter car.....great on gas.

VOLVO......VOLVO........VOLVO..... I just bought my daughter one, it had under 50 k on it was 10K in great shape, she loves it....it loves her.....she has had it about 8 months and most of all I love it.....has 6 air bags and is good on gas....it's really cute, all the bells and whistles that you could ever want...it was 6 years old and is just a great fun, cute, (moon roof) car.......take a look at some used ones....they go forever, I wish I could remember the model number but it was a coup style, not the old boxy type....air bags count....good luck.

if you want nice 2 door honda civic if you want a good suv under 20 k maybe you can check a suzuki xl 7

KIA makes several small cars some with 100,000 mile warrenty. Toyoto are good also, if you wouldn't mind a honda used they have excellent history also.

if u can find a good running dodge daytona or eagle titlon or a dodge dakota if ur in 2 a small truck

Get a used Prius. They are great fun...environmentally responsible...get a lot of attention....economical to drive and the quietest car you will EVER drive. If you can come up a few thousand, get a new one. I love mine!
