Type a c within parentheses and it may automatically convert it to the copyright symbol. go to Insert> Symbol then select the copyright symbol. Also i believe if you just type (c) then press space, word should convert that into the symbol.

Insert, Object to take you to character map, switch to Windings font and you have a tick and a tick within a box. Double click to bring it in and you can then copy and paste it as you need it. If you are 2007 version, switch to Insert menu, click on the symbol icon, right of the ribbon and if it is not on show in the gallery (of recently used symbols, click on More Symbols to take you to character map as above.

At the top menu bar click on insert, mouse down to symbol. Look for the © symbol in the table (you may have to scroll down), and then click on insert at the bottom.

In the same screen, you can also assign a shortcut key to it (I use c) and then you can insert it anytime by pressing that sequence. It may already be assigned to that shortcut.

First guys right - also, there's an included font (forget which), and that's one of the characters..

Oh, the font is [e-mail] - it's at the bottom of the fonts list, and the character is the "w"
