Are Mexicans the best truck drivers?

If you're talking about coast-to-coast in Mexico, you already have your answer. If you're talking in the U.S. then I think you're making that assumption up.

Because some good hearted American waits for them to come and in the good American way take advantage of some one that want a better life which is the same way that the Mexicans and the Chinese do with thier own people and then cry foul when its done by some else who at lest give them a chance to get ahead !!!! And the rest of the world that is now beating the hell out of North America and still waiting for the foreign aid and cry if we don't send them the G D cheque this piss's me off

Howdy folks! yea! Mexicans are some of the best drivers in the world. Mexicans can control a beast of 500 tons like a boy to his pony. Many Mexicans are indeed Truck drivers in all of the most important interstate highways. Our highways are in good hands with all those Mexicans and other nationalities or ethnic groups who are truck drivers.

My boyfriend is a truck driver. Not one Mexican works for his company,they say they can't afford the liability.They had a few of them,but they are long gone.Seems they had no clue how to do the paperwork in English and thought the rules for the driving hour limits didn't apply to them.

Maybe so. But I live in a town off 287 in Texas which is a major truck route. Most I see are white. And the stock drivers (cattle) are the most dangerous ones I see.

WHAT? ,,, what highway or Interstate you been driving.? cause the only truck drivers i see on I-40, I-25 is americans.. not no mexicans..i think it must be in your dreams...

It depends on the individual, i have met Mexicans that dont know how to drive at all, and some that drive better than I do. I cant drive a big rig, but all those truckers seem to be doing ok. Try and see past nationality and color lines.

we've got this thing called NAFTA. and we also get a lot of fruit and other products from mexico. so...either the US finds a way to mass produce mangos, tomatos, etc... all year long...or we continue to have lots of mexican truck drivers.
