How do English people feel about the fact that the ethnic minority can come into our country and do as they please? They can come here and build there places of worship but if we went into their country and build a church we would most likely be killed!

but how do you know that if you built a church that you would be killed have you tried to do this.

And if they wish to build a place of worship, why not? if they are paying their taxes like everyone else in this country, are English people the only ones allowed to have a faith and place to worship this faith?

We live on an island, progressive invasions and migrations are the very trends that have populated these fair shores. England the name comes from German invaders - the Angles, who with the Saxons dispossessed the Danes, who stole the land from the Celts, who pinched it from the Picts and then the bloody French came and took the lot. Except for my lovely little patch of home - Scotland (not even the Romans wanted us - too much trouble, too bloody wet).
We, the jocks, are the finest example of another culture nestled within your own that are now completely assimilated into a British society. If the Irish and us can do it, anyone can.

Retaining the higher moral ground by desire for equal rights to all members of society regardless of sex, race or belief will eventually do for Islam, as it has Christianity. The subjugated and lied to will only kneel for so long if a better alternative is readily available, force of habit and dogma cannot resist freedom.
Show a more tolerant and understanding Britain, one where the people do not necessarily reflect the government or the media, and they will all come round in the end - just like us Jocks (might take a while though).

There are many Churches in India, Pakistan and every other country where 'East meets West'. For centuries both religious and non religious structures have been constructed by different races/cultures in all parts of the world.

Mc Donald's restaurants, Shell and Total garages,Ikea are a few examples of non religious structures you may find in dozens of countries including the far east.

You don't seem to upset that a lot of Russian and American billionaires are buying British football clubs, isn't football a 'sacred' religion in this country?
How could we let such a thing happen?

I don't mind that they build a church or place of worship, but I do mind the other stuff, driving without a license, without insurance, driving up medical costs because of emergency room visits that don't get paid for, driving down wages of certain jobs, refusing to speak or learn English in service jobs and fast food restaurants, flooding the schools with children many of them do not have control over by the time they reach high school and the gangs and graffitti. That stuff I don't like at all. I think the people that would say I am bigoted because of this are confusing legal immigrants, with illegal immigrants. I don't like living amongst lawbreakers period. If they are brown, black, red yellow, or white they are people who don't acknowledge or respect our laws of this nation. As far a legal immigrants? I think they are a wonderful addition to our melting pot, and if they have a church to go to that makes them feel better more power to them. One of our perks here is religious freedom after all.

I agree whole heartedly with your paragraph & I bet there was a lot you wanted to say but because of restrictions you have had to contain your wording? As our country changes with more & more people from other countries coming here to live & we who seem to be in the minority accept their position here it is difficult to see how we can change the situation without getting hauled up before government for being classed as racist or whatever? I expect long after I am pushing up daises some Government in power will realise just what is happening here & have the guts to do something about it.

Most importantly is the fact that our country is too small to accommodate more people whatever the race. The British are also not racist, just concerned about our children's future and I'm sure the ethnic minority, who've been here for generations, feel just the same

I live in Texas. We have the same problem with the Mexican illegal immigrants here, except that they are Roman Catholic. Roman Catholicism does not teach Jihad. Therefore we do not have to worry about them blowing up subways, etc.

My ancestry is English /French, and when I see what is happening in both France and England, I get angry at the stupidity of both governments, that they do not shut the doors, and keep those North African Islamic people out.

We as Anglos have to stand up for ourselves. We can not allow just any culture and religion, regardless of their beliefs, into our countries. We are giving up our birthrights. We are giving up our souls.

I am fine with the issue of immigration as long as they go through the right channels to come here legally. My wife is a Cambodian immigrant and she had to wait almost 3 years before coming to America. Also, this country was built by immigrants. The only people that should be mad about immigration are the Native Americans.

It is neither racist nor arrogant to DEMAND that anyone who wishes to immigrate (legally) to the USA should be expected to learn English and blend in with our melting pot society. Multicultural bs is just that: BS!

What has happened over the last few decades, however, are otherwise well meaning liberals pandering for votes by instituting multi-lingual ballots, for instance, which has caused most immigrants - particularly Latinos - to be lazy about learning English and expecting us to learn their language.

It's a crock of s**t!!

I have no problem with foreigners/immigrants/ coming over to this country to work or study as long as they abide by our customs and way of life and integrate. I feel that we have let too many in and we are becoming very overcrowded. I think that as this is a Christian country there shouldn't be any mosques built or muslim teaching in our schools as this is creating segragation also western dress should be worn, after all we would have to cover up if we went to a muslim country and finally anyone found to be involved with any kind of terrorist activity should be immediately deported and never allowed to return to this country!
