No. The first problem faced will be finding ground. Chances are it will be for lying to congress and not for the war itself. That means there has to be hearings upon hearings first to get Bush to lie in the first place. Let's say they get him to lie and it's 2008 now and he gets impeached. That makes Dick Cheney president. The troops are still in Iraq. Ok now they have to impeach Dick Cheney and let's say that takes nine months and somebody won the presidential race. Now I think every candidate wants the troops out of Iraq. The Republicans will put the troops in Afganistan and there is talk by the Democrats putting the troops in Sudan. Meanwhile troops could be sent into Iran under a UN mandate.

Candidate Dennis Kucinich says the only way to get out of Iraq and stop an assault on Iran is through impeachment of W and Scowlin' Dicky.
Personally i don't see any other potential Democrat changing much except Kucinich.

What would u impeach Gdubs on. He's doing his job, if we left Iraq now it wouldn't be good for the U.S. I'm glad Bush is in the white house he's got the balls to try and end fascist Islamic extremists in the world, which is the first step to world peace. IF gore was the president he would ask the terrorist to burn cleaner fuels and make them plant more trees.

He doesn't hate the military. He hates the way that people who voluntarily joined the armed services to protect our land are thrown into sensless violence.
Impeachment will not bring the end of the Iraq war, but we CAN elect someone in 2008 who can bring an end.

No.
Bush won't even abide by the decisions of Congress, which the Constitution requires him to obey. But then, Bush has never really been a fan of the whole idea of Constitutional limits.

Listen Im a liberal but the fact is this, If we leave Iraq now there will be a genocide.
Anyone who doesn't think that genocide will be a direct result of us pulling our troops out of iraq before structuring some sort of stable government first is either uninformed, misinformed, or simply too dense and closeminded to take an honest and unbiased look at what's happening.
I'm not saying yay go bush, i hate bush.
I never supported this war and to be honest I was totally against it from the very beginning.
I feel we were lied to to get us there, and the decision to go was based on strong emotion and misinformation.
but the fact is, we can't leave now or the new government we installed will fail and a genocide will result. we're stuck.

Impeachment will not happen because Bush has committed no impeachable offense. Bush is not killing our soldiers, male or female.

You cannot impeach somebody who has not broken the law.
Unless of course, you want to throw out the US Constitution.

It won't work. Impeaching Bush will have no effect on Iraq. The troops will remain.
