go to your vet and ask them to do a DNA test or something. you can try guessing what she looks like. and then look it up on google images. like if she looks like a dashound. type in dashound and look

The problem with mixes is that there is a lot of variation in how the puppies look, even in the same litter. One may look a lot like the mother, another like the father and yet another a mix of both - it can be even harder when the parents were mixes themselves. So it's hard to tell. Post a picture of the dog here and tell us its weight. You might be able to get a few pretty good guesses. I had a dog that was a mix and we know that one half was border collie based on how she looked and we the other half was something bigger, based on her size, maybe a type of retriever, but we never really could tell for sure. That's the fun of having a mix - you never really know for sure unless someone actually saw the parents.

DNA testing is expensive and of very limited availability - doubt you'll be willing or even able to go that route.

I assume that you will want to take this puppy to the vet anyway to make sure that she is healthy and what not so I would say to ask your vet while you are there. You could try to figure it out on your own using images off the internet and such but it'd probably be much more accurate (not to mention easier...) just to ask your vet.

Good luck with your new addition to the family!

Vets can take a blood sample and send it to the lab to get some idea of her dna make up and what breeds they're attributed to.

If you could provide a picture on this question, you can have people suggest what they believe could be a mix.
