It depends on the community. In larger cities I don't think it raises many eyebrows anymore, but in smaller towns, you could get a real redneck response. Some small minded people will look, but if you love each other, then just persevere..and it should work out

Not Sure, I Asked The Same Thing Couple Days Ago On Here. Like, I'm MExican, Hispanic, Latino, Whatever The "Politacly" Correct Word Is. I Could Careless, Really. And I Know I Spelled It Wrong, But Anyway, I Want To Date Outside My Race. Learn From Different Cultures And Backgrounds, You Know?? Me Myself, I LOVE Asian Girls, I Think Their Ancestry And Culture, Background, All That Is Interesting. But The Thing Is, I Don't Think They Really Date/Marry Outside Their Race, You KNow?? If They Do, It's Usually A "White"Guy, Ain't Nothing Wrong With That, It's Just That They Only Date/Marry Either Race. But Yeah, I Could Care Less If People Date Outside Thier Race, Much Less About What Others May Thin About Me Dating Outside The Race. I Know My Family Doesn't Care. But I don't Hopefully, I Find A Asian Female That Will Date/Marry A Mexican, Hispanic, Latino, Whatever!!

For some background, I live in a small town in North Georgia- and one of the leaders of the KKK lives up the road from me...
And when I say that, most are probably thinking that it's a big deal around here.
But honestly, no. It's not.
I'm white, and my boyfriend is black.
When we go out, normally we get the "aww" response, not the glare. (Though when we get the glare, I usually glare back- 3 guess who turns away first)
BUT one stigma that exists is this- He's a gun toting, drug dealing thug (When he wears girl pants- where would the gun fit?- and has never done drugs in his life)
And I'm a stupid, white trash ho. (Let's ignore the fact that I'm in school getting a buisness degree, and am not only a virgin and waiting until marriage to have sex- but this is also my first relationship and I'm 22 years old)
While that IS a stigma that some people have, very few people have it.
Most people don't even give us a second glance.
There are morons in this world, and there always will be. You can't change that. But for the most part, no one notices.

I think the answer to this depends on who you ask. You will likely get very different answers from different people based on their ethnicity, age, geographic location and maybe even gender to name a few. For example, while I think interracial dating is much more acceptable nowadays for all ethnicities of people <30 years of age, I'd venture to say the older Black and White people who were around before the Civil Rights movement might have a different perspective. Also, while it is quite common to see Black Men and White and Asian Women dating interracially, it is not as common for Black women and Asian men. Finally, with America's history, interracial dating would not likely be as acceptable in rural Mississippi as it is in Los Angeles.

It depends on where you are. Here in Austin, there's no problem with it at all, but in other parts of Texas, that would be a reason for getting shot. Back in NYC, I used to get a lot of flack for dating outside of my race, but only in certain areas. Usually, it was other blacks giving me trouble and whites giving my boyfriend trouble. Older generations seem to have a much harder time of it than younger ones.
In the end, you can't please everyone, so I say please yourself. Do what you feel is right for you and if others have an issue with it - oh, well.

It is the same, but more and more people are slowly not giving a darn. It is 2007 and time to look past race. It is probably viewed at the same way. The only sure fire way to get the right answer....look it up on the net.

People are people no matter what race, color or religion they are. I have some family members and friends who will not date out of their race. Me personally, I don't have a problem with anyone dating or marrying anybody of a different race. As long as people are happy together, that's what's important.

Depends on where you are. I think on either coast, in metropolitan areas, it's very common. It's very common to see children from the local school who are of mixed races.
I think it's still less common in smaller towns and away from the coasts (though I live on the coast, and only visit the interiors of the country).
