For me there are 2 places that have really stood out - PhiPhi Island in Thailand and the Mount Cook area of New Zealand.

When I went to PhiPhi I got there on a boat from Phuket, arrived quite early in the morning and went straight to the beach, it was like paradise. There were about 4 other people on the whole beach, it was gorgeous and the sea was like a warm bath! There were loads of palm trees around, soft, warm sand… I would love to go back there!

The Mount Cook area was also fantastic, mainly for its amazing scenery. I was 14 when I went and I wish I’d appreciated it more at the time! It looks just like it does on the Lord of the Rings films, those huge mountains, massive open spaces with no-one else around.

:)

Actually Bali was the best place for a holiday, we went to Kuta but thankfully flew out just a few days before the bombings happened.
A fabulous place with heaps of bargain's and a very different life style, but most enjoyable with very kind hearted smiling people.
Fiji was also a brilliant place if your looking for something very tropical, the people were so very friendly and happy, welcoming children of all ages, not as cheap as Bali but beautiful breathtaking scenery.
New Zealand is wonderful if your a tourist, but we found living there very expensive.

New forest in Hampshire, peaceful, beautiful, walking, stunning scenery, lovely animals and good beaches. When the weather is great there is no place like it. Best resort is camp site called Sandy Balls, we stay twice a year. Better then anywhere else in the world, and we have travelled widely to USA, Far East, Europe, Australia etc.

Goa, India, in the winter - wonderful sunshine, nice people, good food.
In the spring, Samos, a wonderful Greek Island that is not too spoilt yet.
If you like a good time dancing, nightclubbing then probably a Greek Island is not for you.
