the car will start right back up after about 10 seconds. the car is a 95 bonneville,fuel injection. after it starts up the car will stall after acouple minutes. i changed the thermostat it wasnt that can it be the fuel pump

i had a problem like that i changed the crank angle sensor been perfect ever since.

When you have fuel pump trouble, usually the engine will not start at all. You may have a bad temperature sensor reading temp too high in engine which will shut it down to prevent engine damage even though the engine is operating at the proper temp.

You have a defective thermostat, change it now! nvm i didn't read the whole question. Possibly a bad chip.
