Ha! Ha! The answers to your question are so funny!! I am Canadian and in Canada, each culture maintain their own identity. French Canadian, Italian Canadian, Irish Canadian, Scottish Canadian etc... etc...
In USA, everybody becomes American but this is not how things are done in Canada. We each maintain a cultural identity, with our own colours, own languages, own celebration etc...
When it comes to an image of Canada, we have to say that the maple leaf, the beaver, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are well known.
I am more familiar with the east coast as it is where I am from but Canada is very different from east to west and this is what makes it interesting. It would be very hard to find one costume that would represant everyone in a fair manner.

Canada is made up of peoples from around the globe.....we have no official costume. You could say that we are known for the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) uniform.
But we don't have a particular costume.

Canada is considered a melting pot of many different cultures and ethnic groups.... The Matee Indians are one of the oldest members of Canada (French Canadian Indians) along with some Inuit (Eskimo people). Historically it would probably be the traditional dress of one of these tribes.... Presently the most common costume used is the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) dress uniform. Because Canada has such a diversity of people it is very difficult to represent ALL of them......

Canada does not have an official costume. The closest you will come to are the red jackets and blue jackets of the British and French military, the RCMP outfit, or a native american ceremonial dress.
