i had a student loan 15 years ago, went to this school for 3 weeks school closed. dept of ed says i dropped out 2 days early. not true of coarse they have already got15,000.00 on 5,000.00 loan but they still wont stop! i didnt have a high school deploma and still dont care what can i do?

I don't think any one thing will resolve your problem here. Here is one tip that will help some. There is a program that works with local grocery stores. You register your grocery card with their website and a portion of all the purchases go to paying for college (can also be used to pay down existing loans).

You need to care because this will reflect on your credit history if you don't dispute this and if the school closed then they should have had some recourse to only have you pay for only the time you were there not the entire amount. I have a school right now doing this to me and I was only there for a quarter and they expect me to cough up $9800 for an entire year when it was only $1500

Consolidate your loans and get in a repayment plan that isn't too much for you to handle.
