Save your money! None of that crap really works! Nothing will make your hair grow faster. I moved to central Fla., 15 yrs ago, and have done nothing but fuss about never getting a decent hair cut!! My hair has looked awful since we moved here, I mean BAD. My whole life I have had hair that now matter how bad the hair cut it still looked good, and I have been miserable! Until a month ago I bought some shampoo and contitioner by Johnathan, I have yet to get a cut but my hair looks great!!!
I would suggest that you go get a trim and get the layers evened up. Just be sure that you let them know that you are trying to get it to grow back out. When you have short hair the only way to keep it looking good is to keep it trimmed. Honest. Good luck

You can expect all shorter hairstyles to go through a very awkward stage while growning out. Where you just can't do anything with it, and it tends to look a little unkempt all the time. If it was 8 months ago, you must have had it cut to almost bald, as you should have gained at least 4-5 inches since then, unless you have kept cutting it short all this time. Ever heard the saying 'a watched pot never boils'? well the same theory applies to hair, if you are checking for growth every day, of course it will never seem as if it is growing. Just give it time.

You could take prenatal vitamins, just the kind you can buy at WalMart. They help your hair and nails grow stronger so they don't break or split as much.
I would also try to find fun ways to style your hair while it's short so that you don't feel like it's so awful...I'll bet it's cute.
Oh, and Diamond is crazy, even if she is a stylist--hair doesn't grow 4-5 inches in 8 months! It would take about a year for that much. But seriously, try prenatal vitamins; they shouldn't hurt you, and you'll be healthier.

I don't know how old you are but as we get older the hair on our heads grows more slowly and the stray hairs that we could live without seem to pop out all over the place.....you can't make your hair grow quicker and I have no clue what your budget is....but....high budget you can get extentions but only by the best.....the cheap ones will chew your own hair out and are really uncomfortable.....a cheaper better fix is fake hair....they make some really nice long up styles now, I have a couple, mine are human hair and were pricey but they look absolutely real and I put them on in about 20 seconds and have one great hair day after another!! Drug stores have cheaper ones and some are not that bad either but not as long or real looking.....my fav is a long layered style on a bananna clip....they are great!!!!

expensive OMG! flow to a Sally's and get 'colour remover'. follow the guidelines on the field. and there are extremely some guidelines. as quickly as you have the colour bleached as much as a yellowish tone, wash out the remover. next, venture WITH A therapy. this could be a might desire to. Filling the hair with a therapy will enable the hot colour to deposit flippantly. Then decrease back to Sally's and get a toner or semi-everlasting colour. do no longer purchase a perninant colour. They comprise ammonia. do no longer concern, the semi-permanant colour would be permenant after the colour removing... purchase a 7N brown. do no longer purchase a green base colour. leave on for quarter-hour and do a conditioning therapy back to assist the colour stay in. you will possibly desire to be all extra ideal after that..

Don't worry. I had the exact same problem! I went to Super Walmart to get my hair cut (real dumb idea.) The lady didnt understand english and i looked like a guy afterwords!
The the good thing about hair is that it will eventualy grow back. Till then you can either get extentions..or a wig.

Ok, what you need to do is find something to do with your hair until it grows out. Put some styling product in your hair and experiment until it looks passable and then wait. Depending on you and your hair it takes about 2 months for your hair to grow and inch.

well, it takes a long time. i feel for you. my suggestion is say over and over and over "not to short or i'll kill you". Next time make it clear how much you want off, where you want it to fall, and what will happen to him if he messes up. Now, your lucky cause short hair is in. Use gel. Or straighten or curl it. Do something to it because you can make it grow unless you get rly expensive hair extensions (like $20,000) or get a wig. Sorry

Eat eggs and strawberries also buy shampoo that will help with hair growth and make sure to wash your hair everyday and take really good care of it so like stop using flat irons and blow driers and curlers for a while and/or only use them for special occasions
hope i helped
