Sure, at the very least. But, you don't have to beleive anything in the Bible to believe that God exists. I see 'God' as the Divine in all things. It's not some angry Hebrew war god who's going to destroy the Earth and torture the vast majority of people who have ever lived. That belief is evil. Those who religion is based around that belief belong to an evil death cult. So, it's really up to you. The Divine who inspired all the faiths on Earth, making all of the true, or an angry torturer who will destroy the world.

Obviously to believe in God. You sound like an Atheist so, first of all before i say anything i will have to congratulate you, because many of the people believe in relegion blindly just because of their parents. You are depending on what your mind tells you, so thats good. Well let me ask you a few questions. Just say i bring a machinary in front of you that no one has ever seen before and i ask you who knows the function of this machine. You would obviously say the manufacturer or the maker or the creator or the inventor etc. So how do you think the world came out, or the universe and all the nature. If it just came out of no where how can it be so perfect. Okay moving on, the study of embryology right now has just been discovered recently that is about a hundred years ago. But who do you think told about the development of an embryo before 1400 years ago in the Holy Qura'an, obviously the Creator (GOD). Next point, it was only before like 500 years or so people started to admit that the world is spherical in size but then the Quran said this 1400 years ago. Who do you think would have said this, obviously the Creator(GOD). My next point, it was only a few years ago that science told us that the sun rotates on its own axis, but Allah said this in the Holy Quran 1400 years ago in chapter 21 verse 33 ( you can confirm it by referring to the Quran). It was only recently that science says that mountains prevent the Earth from shaking but my Creator, Allah said this 1400 years ago in Chapter 78 Verse 6 and 7. And another point, science only recently found that the universe is expanding but Allah said this in the Quran before 1400 years ago in chapter 51 verse 47. Hope i have proved enough about the existence of God. Im not an expert in Islam, but there are people with better knowledge than me and all ill say is Islam is the true relegion and hope to see you as another brother or sister in Islam. You can watch the video of this expert speaker which might make you a bit more confident and reading the Quran would clarify all your doubts im sure. If you have time watch both these videos-

It depends on how you mean that. I personally don't care if god exists, I'm a good person regardless. I don't need religion to tell me if what I'm doing is right or wrong. If I were to personify "god," I would say that god wouldn't care if you believe or not. He would have to be pretty self-rightous to demand that of you.

If god made you in his image, he made us questioning to the world around us. God is invisible, conceptual, and different to every culture and individual. God made himself hard to believe in. I would even venture to say *gulp* that god did this so we concentrate on the world around us and not on him.

In other words, if god made everything the way is it, he doesn't want us to believe in god. Just be good.

A founding father thought the opposite:

“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear”
- Thomas Jefferson

I'd prefer it if more people weren't trying to be god-like. Here are some of his qualities (according to the bible NIV).

Sadist - If god is omnipotent and all-knowing, then the creation of a hell proves that he is a sadist.

Megolomaniac - God is very jealous and rules with an iron hand in the bible, often killing those that turned their backs on him.

Emotionally Insecure - If God is really a god, then he wouldn't need us to pray to him.

Where your beliefs are, there also will be your truths. If you believe God exist, then God exist for you. You can't make someone else to accept your beliefs without evidence.

Amen...I agree with you and in the end the non-believer will wish that they did believe but it will be too late for them.
