This is not just my question. There was a group of students (a pretty large one) who all basically asked the same question). We're not judging God, I am not discriminating in any way. We just want to know what people think about this question.

Well, my personal belief is that the soul does not arrive in the body until the first breath is taken. So abortion wouldn't matter.
Who knows? No one does - it's a matter of personal belief - which is why abortion MUST remain legal.

Come on now ..this life is a test and God knows exactly how and when pplwilldo something. Why dont u just ask "if God knows someone will murder another ..why doesnt God just murder the first one"
You see he will let ppl do many things to see who is a good person and who is not so that at the end..ie o the day of judgment he would punish ppl who did bad tings to other ppl.

Then again, Jews don't believe that a child is actually alive until the head exits the womb.

of course not because if that child is aborted..then the soul simply returns to be with God. that is a true blessing in the midst of a tragedy.

we are not given souls, we are souls. the bible does not say that man was given a soul when he was created. genesis 2:7 says that man BECAME a living soul.
yes God is smart enough for everything.

In some religions, they believe that the soul doesnt enter the child until s/he is five years old, so maybe he is and we just dont know it.
