I've been using GIMP, and we have been fighting a lot lately. I was just wondering if there were any other options out there.

I'm not up on what these free paint programmes are capable of but here are some which you can cast your artistic eye over :)

For free, GIMP is often looked at as being one of the best. However, VicMan's seems to be pretty good as well (http://www.vicman.net/vcwphoto/)

Depending what you want to do, Irfanview is really good free software and it supports Photoshop filters. This would be my pick, hands down.

yeah Gimp is a good one
