What candy from your youth brings back fond memories! Maybe give the period and location too?

For me, a Cherry Mash (cherry nougat covered with peanutty choclate) at the town grocer in Burns Wyoming, 1970. Got to buy it myself (alone) with earned money from growing/selling carrots.

At the local lake they had a concession stand, it was the Zero bar, which was straight from the freezer, about 1970-1975. Was a great treat on a hot summer day! After a long day of swimming with the friends.

Brooklyn NY 1957 The two cent Mary Jane. I remember 1961 The Ring Ding came out. In the 1950s the Devil Dog was a nickel and was bigger. It was made of real devils food cake and was cream filled. You didn't need a drink to swallow it , like the grainy ones they sell now. Candy cigarettes and mustaches. One penny candy pills. I fondly remember the 5 cent coke.
We used to drink it in the store to get our 2 cent deposit back on the bottle.

I even remember making a deal with the store , buying the coke for three cents and leaving the bottle behind.

The miniature Krackel bars. My grandmother used to keep them for us when we would visit. When I would get my allowance, I would ride my bike to the corner store and buy the big one, but it wasn't the same. That was late 70's early 80's, just outside Austin, TX.

Purple thrills gum. Everyone said it tasted like soap, but it reminds me of my childhood. My parents did a stink with Amway in Canada, and they bought me an amway size package of thrills. It was like 12 packs of soap gum.
