I have recently discovered that there is a toothbrush tree that cleans your teeth better than a store bought toothbrush. It comes equipped with its own toothpaste and a mild antibiotic which prohibits bacteria. It naturally promotes good dental hygeine. Why do you think our dentists aren't telling us about this?

I am still researching, and I can't put a link on this page. I know that I want to try the tree with the mild antibiotic.
google: "Tooth brush tree" (include the quotes) and look at the photos and research papers available online. One researcher said that the tree is quite pleasant tasting and that you brush until the flavor is gone.

Supposedly, Native Americans chewed on twigs of the sassafras tree until it splintered and then used this to brush their teeth. I can see how this might be used for the outer surfaces of the teeth, but not the inner surfaces. You just couldn't get good access.

I think dentists are not telling you about this because it is not within the "standard of care" that is demended by the public.

Now that you know it's the sassafras tree, go into the woods and get a stick and see how you feel about using it to brush your teeth. While you are at it, dig some of the root from the same tree and brew it in boiling water to make sassafras tea. Seriously. It's delicious.

I don't know many people that would be excited to brush with tree bark. I think it's a good idea but i know a ton of people who prefer to be modernised as opposed to natures remedies.

Because it doesn't make money for toothbrush manufacturers.
By the way, do you have any more info on it?
