Take it from someone who's been there. It is possible to fall in love with someone without ever seeing them in person. I met this wonderful guy online, and we had a long distance relationship for about a year and a half. Sure, it didn't work out because of the distance thing, but we're still really great friends. Anyway, yes, it is possible to fall in love with someone you've never met, and maybe something could happen. You might have a successful relationship, or it could fall through. Either way, it's all possible.

Yes... it is very possible, and I speak from experience. My lady and I fell in love about 4 months after randomly meeting online. We had no cameras so we only knew appearances by description. But we both felt that our meeting was destined and that we were meant for each other. We were engaged 2 years ago and have now been together over 5 years, but still mostly online together because of the distance and her school. We get together any time we can, though. We've had ups and downs but we still love each other dearly. She is quite special. Oh... and she turned out to be quite beautiful, too. ^_^

Wow, I am going through the same problem myself. I have known this guy on Myspace for 11 months now! I do think it's possible that you can fall in love with the guy and love some qualities about him but you do have to meet him to see if you two are really compatible. You may think he seems outgoing and stuff but then come to find out he's not. Go out and meet each other in a public space and see from there. Please don't let time pass you by!

relationships like this prove that there is more to it than physical attraction, i think that its a stretch but i don't think that it is completely impossible. i think that if you want a serious relationship to work then you'll both have to make an effort for it to work. long distance relationships can be tricky especially when you've never met in person and the relationship will only be as good as the people in the relationship want it to be. don't rule out this possibility yet because i don't think that it is completely impossible but i would recommend meeting at least once before you commit to anything.

First of all Slow it down!
Nobody can fall in love through Emails. You maybe very much interested in him,his thoughts, his character, etc but that is NOT called "love".
Slow things down.Don't rush.
Meet him and try to know him better then you may really fall in love and you will see how much love is different from the feeling you have right now

Everything is possible, but you want to make sure that the photo's you saw are really of himself and not just a cover up of what he really looks like. Of course looks are not supposed to matter. Just the same be very careful of the whole situation. There are just too many con men out there.

yes i believe you can. congratulations on meeting here in yahoo answers. wow thats so cool. now its up to you two if you decide to meet each other in person. i will say one thing and that is for you two to take it slow and get to know each other better. and also be honest with each other allways. because if you do decide to meet and you find out you havn't been trufull with each other then it will ruin the relationship you two could have had. i wish you all the luck in the world

I would not call it love. There are things I am sure that you two like about each other, but as long as you are not around each other, you do not know everything, and everybody has flaws, which you do not about him yet... so stay away from the internet love.

To be honest I thin one can. I would never have believed anyone had they told me about it, but since its happened to me I know understand how it is possible.
I met someone online and have fallen in love with them after only 4 months of chatting daily and he seems as smitten with me as I am with him. So despite my non-belief in it, it appears to happen anyway.
