I worked my buns off to get into a super-competitive college communications program. I did well on my assessment test and my portfolio assignment, and then I had my interview. I didn't think I did as well there as I could have. For the next week or so, I couldn't even look at the course book or any of the letters I'd gotten from the college so far. (I save all that stuff in a folder, just in case.)
However, I heard back from them a week later. Guess what? I got in.

Ha! A couple times. The first time by the time he wanted to be with me, I didn't want to be with him, but he thought I did based on past info he got from mutual friends....that was awkward. The second time was my brothers best friend....but we are married now, so that worked out.
