I've been friends with a guy for about 5/6 years. Last summer before he left for school, we confessed that we liked each other. Now we're in the friends with benefits situation. Mainly because we live about 6 hours apart. Should I decided to just be friends with him, stay in the friends with benefits catagory or see if he's interested in a long distance thing?

Ooh...toughy. You've known this guy for years, so you should be able to be pretty open with him.
What are the chances of being in an open, not yet serious relationship? You know, date other people? I'm all for being with 1 and 1 guy only, but with the distance thing, it would take the pressure off the both of you.
As far as the friends with benefits...I married my friends with benefits guy, so it can work out. We were open and honest with one another.

You should definitely get out of the whole friends with benefits thing, you both will end up getting hurt in the end. If you think that a long distance relationship will work then go for it. If he doesn't, then you can always just be friends... its not so bad.

Well if you are both willing to make the commitment of being in a long term realationship then fine, but if you guys can not come to the understanding then i would just stay as freinds with benifits. Because on the weekends, holidays, breaks, you guys make the effort, you will see eachother on a regular absis and every thing will go good. But if neither of you have the time for that type of realationship...then don't ven bother because you will both wind up hating eachother in the long run!!..................Good Luck

I would get out of the situation. He is living a guy's paradise, without the responsibility of treating you like a real girlfriend.
Is that really what you want for yourself. What I would do is ask him if he is interested in taking the relationship to the next level. If he says no, or makes excuses, then, move on.
You deserve so much better. Raise the bar higher for yourself and in the end you'll get what you want. Good luck.

Weel this is tough how long before he comes back and when or ifhe does start something almost right away. But if u try something before hand well, ... long distance relationships dont always work out.stay friends with benefits until u know for sure.

Listen, the reality is that you are just his Sex Partner/Booty Call. If that is what you want, then that is your choice. But if you want more, then you are not going about it the right way. But now that you are having sex with him, its almost impossible to stop sleeping with him unless you just break this off. This booty call relationship will continue and continue--then eventually he will start DATING someone he likes, and you will be hurt. I dont know what to tell you, but you are headed for some hurt--especially if you like him.
