Sit back... this is a LONG answer, but I wanted to help you out! I know it can be frustrating. This REALLY works!! There are 3 people sent me an email saying to me that it worked for them!! This was also been chosen by 10 members to be the best answer because it worked for them too!! Proof, see my best answers!!
Gather all materials beforehand -- see "Things You'll Need" below. You might want to store them in a waterproof resealable bag, such as Ziploc. I'd recommend wearing either old clothes or a bathrobe over whatever you are wearing. There is a definite possibility this is going to spill. After you have found everything on you checklist, head to a large, flat, waterproof surface. This is probably your bathroom. Having this room be private is highly advised; you can't just say, "Get out, I'm flattening a pimple," can you?
Things You'll Need
- 3 or more cotton balls
- Lukewarm tap water
- Cup to hold the water in
- Salt
The Method
1. Salt the water thoroughly -- much more than you think it needs.
2. Dip one cotton ball in the salt water.
3. Wait for 30 - 60 seconds.
4. Squeeze out excess water out until it is damp, but not dripping.
5. Place the damp cotton ball over your large, oh-my-goodness-I-cannot-go-to-... zit. If you have several of these grouped together, try to place the cotton ball over them all.
6. Glance at your watch/clock. Wait exactly three minutes.
7. Remove the cotton ball after the time is up. The zit seems to be nearly gone, but it is only the top that has dissolved. Your acne is still there.
8. Take the other two cotton balls and place them on either side of the despised pimple.
9. Slowly, move them closer together until the tiny bump is flattened. Congrats! You've just conquered that giant of a pimple -- forever!
10. Apply honey on the infected area & go to sleep!!
Tips
*Don't forget the last 3 steps -- they are crucial.
*Be sure to follow these steps closely. Dipping a cottonball in fresh water as opposed to salt will not work, for instants.
* You might want to bring a book -- either waterproof or one that you do not care about being splattered in water. Those three minutes can get boring.
* This is your best bet for monster zits that simply sneak up on you. For long-term healthy skin, cleansing and toning is also important.
Warnings
* Please, PLEASE, do not assume this is permission to "pop" pimples. Doing so can cause major scarring. Please don't pop them.
* If you stop after the top is dissolved, I must warn you: it WILL come back! Maybe not in the next five minutes, but during the course of an hour, it will come back!
You can even try applying original Head & Shoulder Shampoo to clear acne!!! I WORKS like a charm!! Read all about it here including people's comment about it!

If you feel new pimples erupting, ice it! Hold an ice cube over the area for about 5-10 minutes. It REALLY works!!!
For acne scars,
1. Lemon juice is natural bleach and helps in lightening the scars and blemishes of the skin.
2. Rosehip seed oil is also another home remedy which reduces acne scars. It is mostly used in the cosmetic products and used for acne scarring, facial scarring, surgical scars, sun damage, premature aging, burn marks etc. This oil should be massaged twice on the acne scars daily.
3. Application of Aloe Vera gel/juice to the fresh wounds prevents the formation of permanent scars.
4. One of the home remedy is that ice cubes can be rubbed on the acne scars for ten to fifteen minutes.
5. Vitamin E is considered best for the healthy glowing skin. Application of vitamin E oil or capsule to the scar will completely vanish the scar in few weeks.
6. The most effective remedy for the scars is application of honey several times a day. It will give a natural glow to the skin and will remove all scars.

Put a small dab of Neosporin on each popped pimple - that way it will heal better and won't leave a scar. But honestly, you can't magically make them virtually disappear in 24 hours, I'm sure you know that, so tomorrow for picture day just put some concealer on the zits to blend them with your skin tone and some foundation on top or powder and it will be much less noticible. Also, if worst comes to worst, you could always photoshop the picture to get rid of the acne. Good luck.

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.
In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.
Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.
In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.
If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

've suffered with acne for awhile now, however, I think treating acne takes time. I got rid of of acne by drinking lots of water and eating very healthy, which was the best remedy by far. Also, washing my face twice daily. ,However, using natural cleansers made my face feel, look healthier, and clearer. Though, having a workout plan also takes a big impact on your skin, ALSO, NEVER TOUCH OR PICK AT YOUR FACE. But, if you absolutely have to, get two q-tips and squeeze the puss out gently. Then, put an ice cube on it so the redness will go away. Also, changing your pillowcases every other night helps too. I hope I helped. :)

Ok, since you popped them, here's what you do. Put a dab of rubbing alcohol on it to clean up the area and then take an ice cube and hold it on the zit for about 10-15 seconds at a time (you dont want to freezer burn your skin!)....this will rush blood to the area = healing and reduce the redness and swelling.
you should be able to cover it with a bit of powder by morning and look great for your pictures!

I recently went through this problem. Well, clearsel will always help, wash your face very well. The best tip that I can give you is to test run your makeup tonight and see what cover up looks the best. My mom uses Bare Minerals makeup and that concealer works miracles. Pro Active ( which i use ) and acne medications can only prevent other acne, not cure acne you have already, so dont go out and buy an expensive acne medication. Make sure you have enough time to do you makeup just as well as your test run in the morning!! Hope your picture turns out well!

Leave your face alone. You don't really have much time to heal, you just want to avoid more damage. You can dry them a bit with a benzoyl-peroxide based cream like Oxy (can get at any drugstore).
In the future you need to get a good skincare regimen so you can avoid zits in the first place. See a dermatologist and you'll be glad you did.
