i hate 13

13 was very difficult for my daughter. She struggled with wanting to be a grown up and wanting to still be a kid. There were times when I would catch her in her bedroom looking at and playing with some of her old toys, and she would be very embarassed. People in general seem not to understand 13-year-olds. At Christmastime, she got some toys and also jewelry, clothes and other things you would buy for a teenager. So yes, 13 seems to be a bad year.

I remember 13. It was rough in some ways. My mom and I fought a lot during that time. We never had in the past and don't at all now that I am 26, but 13-14 was rough for us. I was starting to establish who I was as a person and show signs of Independence. She didn't always agree with my decisions, and sometimes she was right. My circle of friends changed a lot at that age too. Hang in there and remember, be true to yourself, don't do stuff just because everyone else is, and give your parents a break every now and then. They know a lot more that we want to give them credit for.

No not at all.... I'm double your age and that's what really sucks. Enjoy it while you can. I bet you don't have to work 2 jobs to pay off student loans yet, huh??? Do you owe the government $700 in taxes??? Do you have random aches and pains and a pinched nerve in your leg from working so damn much???
Nope. Please enjoy it while you can. 13 is not as cool as 17 or 18, but enjoy your teen years while you can. They pass way too quickly and before you know it you will be old with way too much responsibility.

I think so. I think it is because you are trying to discover who you are. 13 was bad for me to.

Yes.
Especially when everyone is not sure of who they are, your hormones are going freaking insane, drama is constant, and people that age are almost always insecure.
Try to make the best out of it as you can. Go shopping and just stay out of the drama:)

its better than 11 and 12 because your just out of the god awful awkward stage... but the teen years are really strange but super important to experience
