1. Drink plenty of water throughout the day
2. Eat a banana 1-2 hours before your race, the potassium prevents muscle cramping
3. WARMUP, this is very important, make sure you warmup with long pants and a sweatshirt too its important to get your muscles warm for this next step
4. STRETCH, this probably the most important paired along with warming up. Be sure to strectch properly so you're loose for your race
5. Don't psyche yourself out, what ever happens happens. Worrying about the race wont help
6. Focus, dont worry about the race, but dont get distracted either
7. Be positive, dont think you're going to run a good race, KNOW you're going to run a good race
Well i dont have much more advice to give.
Good luck!

Make sure to eat breakfast or a meal 4 hrs before the race. e.g if your 1st race is at 10:30 eat by 6:30 so it has time to digest and be rady to be used as fuel.
Take extra clothes to chnage into in case it rains, gets cold, even sunny you can use a shirt to shade yourself.
At the track,(If your coach hasn't done this already, but do it anyway cover your *ss)
first thing is to find out when your race/prelims in any are, find out where the marshalling/sign in area is, get rules of competition(some places do not allow you on the in field, around certain areas, could be cause for disqualification)
30 mins before your race start your warm up, good 5-10 mins jog (depending on your event) make sure to do some dynamic stretching(again depending on your event) leg swings, arms swings, then do your sprint drills some rolling runs, acceleration runs, block starts if you use blocks, sit and relax, clear your mind get into race prep mode just before your call to the start line, keep ypur sweats on till the starter calls "runners to your marks"
I could give you a time right down to 15 secs but as the best laid plans can be screwed up depending on how the other races are going, you may be delayed so always wam up according to the timing of teh meet unless you are the very 1st race of the day like the hurdles always are.

Eat something healthy for breakfast, and if you are running in the morning, keep it light. Bagels and bananas are good. If your event is later in the day, bring light snacks to eat, like crackers or goldfish, but stop eating at least an hour before your event. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water. About 2 events prior to yours, you should do a short warm-up run. When you are done, you should stretch a lot. Stretch your arms and legs, and try to get your muscles as loose as possible. Make sure you pay attention to the calls so you know when to check in. If you do all of that, you should be as ready as you'll ever be! :)
