I know of no evidence that this has been shown to be the case. Certainly, there are many people out there using marijuana and ecstasy, but I have not seen many complaints of women becoming inadvertently pregnant. However, the birth control pill can be affected by essentially any other medication, so it makes sense that there would be a possibility that any illicit drug could interact or could diminish the effectiveness of the oral contraceptive pill.
Also, smoking of any kind and using a hormonal method of birth control greatly increases your risk of blood clots, which could result in some serious medical complications, such as a stroke or cardiovascular disease.

I would be really careful...
First, almost ANY inbalance in your body can cause the pill not to work effectively. For example, Yasmin has a warning that you can't ingest too much potassium or the effectiveness will lessen. So much for bananas and other fruit...
Second, pot is a no-no. I don't smoke pot, but I don't mind if my friends smoke it once in a great while for recreation (like no more than once or twice a month). I don't judge them for that. But if you are young, like in your teens, it could really stunt you. I had a lot of friends who smoked pot frequently and ended up physically or emotionally stunted. If you're older, I recommend keeping it to a minimum.

Okay, who would be stupid enough to admit they're on pot??
The straight answer is yes, but I think you need a telling off. Just note that this is more directed to everyone of your kind.
Where are all you retards coming from??? Why are so many teens turing to pot and sex and drugs and pills and beer and booze and trashy cloths and being hookers and countless other things just to look cool? DON'T TEENS CARE ABOUT THEIR LIFE?!!!
How do teens get it in their mind that looking cool is all life is about and not getting a good education?!?! You all need to learn that there is more to life than weed!! The world is open to countless oppertunnities and you turn them all down just to smoke something that is bad for you?? CAN'T ALL THESE COOL TEENS GET SOME BRAINS AND START LOOKING TOWARDS THEIR GRADES!!!

Not but it will affect your bodies in many ways. It changes the eggs and or sperm in the body which may affect a baby.
