Hmm what to say? Well first off i must say that NO you are not stupid for wanting him back. I believe after 1 year there could be more...I have been dating my boyfriend for almost 3 years and we have our differences.. He has said he wanted to drop out of school because he gets stressed and i promised that if he did he would drop a girlfriend too! Do what your heart says. Thats all I can say. Dont listen to your mind because its not always right...

He dumped you?? I know exactly how you feel!! Trust me you don't need him because all he would do is get in the way of your success!! Make good friends and spend your time with them!!! Think possessively You can have friends that are guys too...as many as you want because there's not a bf in your life to get jealous!!! Also your going to be a successful person and he's not.. but be careful after having a breakup sometimes you may think your in love with the next person you see!!!! Don't worry God will send your right person someday..... just wait for him!!!!
Good luck! i hope my answer helped!!!!!!!

No you are not stupid for wanting him back, but you would probably feel stupid if you were to get back with him. I know I do. I have the same situation but i took him back and now I regret it. I am going back to school for my second degree and he's doing nothing. What is the age difference b/t u two, i am 25 and he's 20 and spends all his money on partying.

You don't like him the way he is, you want to change him. That's not the way to have a relationship. Usually people won't change, and if they do it is often temporary and they drift back to their old selves eventually. If you want an ambitious guy, go out and find one, don't try to change him.
Now, if you can accept him the way he is and sincerely be happy that he is laid back and not care or be mad about it and the possibility of needing to support him or making more money than him, then go for him. But it sounds to me like you wouldn't be happy that way.

aww honey
i totally understand this
it may take some time to get over because you have been together so long
but just go out and have some fun with your friends
you don't need him
just think of all the bad points over and over, block the good ones out of your mind.
Just try and block him out of your mind, like when you start thinking about him, just think about something else.
Maybe you just need a good cry.
Good luck
