well - i'm not so sure about the next day...the minutes following, but not the next day.
crying is very draining - physically and emotionally. when we cry, our body is releasing toxins that ramp up during moments of high emotion. and, i'm sure you've noticed (or maybe this is what you do notice) that if you've cried really deep for a really long time - after you're all done, you have a pounding headache for a while. your eyes hurt, your body hurts...sometimes even feel a stomach ache. only because crying hard for a length of time is pretty strenuous and your body has to recuperate. i haven't known that feeling to last for longer than a half-hour.

Sometimes it's the other way around. When I was I child and I cried my mother used to say, "You are probably coming up with a cold". I think before symptoms are perceivable you are already sick, so maybe that's why.

it sounds as if you are a very emotional person. If you cry for long periods of time it can affect you physically.

Maybe your sinuses are getting infected. You have increased the mucus production.

Maybe you have an exceptionally weak immune system.
Go get checked, seriously.
