Break it up with a spoon. Stay with it while it cooks breaking up any clumps. And then break it up some more

I put about 1/4 cup of water per pound of meat then use a spatula and continuously flatten it while it is browning. Drain.

When i put it in a pan I take a steak knife and cut it into it a bunch. Then once it is cooking I use a wooden spatula to break it apart more.

I (very carefully so as not to scratch the pan) take two forks and separate the meat into small chunks as it cooks.

stir constantly with a firm wooden spoon or spatula and keep breaking up the chunks and turning to brown - make sure it is thoroughly defrosted first

Just turn your spatula over and cut everytime you stir. Yhat should take care of the problem.

Try using a potato masher to break it up several times while it is cooking. Works like a charm!

Make the meat patties in advance and freeze them overnight and fry them frozen. Problem solved and they taste great!

i use a spatula to break it up as much as i can, then while it's browning i use a potato masher to break it up even more

Yep, break it up, those smalll metalic rings (can't name it) with a handle are my favorite way.
