when I go out I like to have a drink but have no clue of what miht be good. I ask for suggstions and end up with something nasty like a pina colada. I like something similar to a fruity wine cooler, sluchi/icee, besides an armeretto sweet n sour what is good?

You are kinda like me. I like fruity drinks too. When I go out I usually just get a fuzzy navel. It is a pretty simple drink. Just peach tree and orange juice. Hope this helps.

Stick with Vodka. You can pretty much mix it with anything you want. Since a good distilled vodka should be colorless and odorless it mixes well with a lot of different things without adverse effects. If you like orange juice, mix it with vodka and it becomes a "screwdriver." If you like tomato juice, mixed with vodka (and a few other spices) it becomes a "bloody mary". I always used to drink vodka with lemonade, known as "electric lemonade". I know a guy who always orders a vodka and root beer. So basicly take a beverage you know you already like, add vodka and it now becomes your new favorite alcoholic drink. Enjoy!

Splash of Triple Sec
fill with 7up
or
Downhome punch, same as above with a splash of cranberry.
Both dont taste too strong, but have a good flavor

Halli- the drink that you mentioned is called a "Sex on the Beach"
One of my all time favs is closely related to that- it is called a "woo woo" (at least in my home town). Anyways, it is a mixture of vodka, cranberry juice and peach schnapps!! Very tasty, just the right mixture of fruity and dry.

I like pina coladas personally, but you could go for something like Pimms and lemonade, not too alcoholic and fruity too.

Try Campari and tonic. It's a nice light summertime drink that's slightly on the bitter side.

My ex used to love this drink called a 007 (he was REALLY into James Bond)...it's Stoli Orange, Orange juice and 7-up (sprite works too). Mojitas are pretty popular right now too and they're pretty to look at. My old standby (i'm a beer or wine gal)...red sangria, YUM!

How about a Daiquiri. It comes in many fruity flavors, banana, peach, strawberry.....it has vodka in it but the vodka isn't real noticeable.

A madras is delicious! Vodka, cranberry and orange juice. Oh yeah, I recommend using Ketel One vodka because it is much smoother and better than well vodka or any other kind.
