I recently heard someone said that there is a new kind of tattoo that would last up to about 2-3 years and it would rub-off eventually.
Is that true?? if so, do you know anywhere offer that service??
Cheers ( interesting subject)

Someone (don't remember who) created this 'temporary' tattoo ink. It's supposed to dissolve after a few years. They did tests, and after something like 5 years, the tattoos were still mostly there, just looked really bad. I can't find the link to the full story at the moment. I don't know of any studios actually offering this type of ink, because of the poor results (and the belief that tats are a life long commitment)

Absolutely no such thing. You can get a Henna tattoo which will last up to a month, depending on the strength of the Henna. But as far as temporary tattoos go, that's the longest lasting one you're going to get.

No it's not true, tattoos need to go into the second layer of skin in order to stay although they might fade over many years. There's no magic ink that can just disappear after 2-3 years.

Don't let anyone claiming they can do semi-permanent tattoos tattoo you because there's no such thing!

I've never heard of that. But there are places that have tattoos that last for two to three months. Maybe that's what they meant to say. I don't know where to get those either.

Perhaps they are talking about the ink being a light colour, white can be written over , perhaps yellow and pink also . So you see as time fades the colours, as black becomes more grey then over the years more gentil colours can be 'erased'. But they will always be with you. Love & Strength.

may be true, but will it really work? apparently those temporary tattoos don't always fade and tend to stay much longer than you'd like. get the real deal!

yes somp people do these so called 5 year tattoos, they are done like a regular tattoo but done improperly so it will come off. thoes are a rip off, because when it begins to go away it will look bad, and some areas mya actualy be peremenate. the only other long lasting tattoos that come off are henna, thoes last only weeks and are safe.

no no no. there's no such thing. it's a gimmick. a tattoo thats done not as deep so that theres a chance it will fade. but it wont ever fade 100% and you'll have some messed up looking skin after a few years. don't do it please!
