Ok, this girl sends me a friend request on myspace. I don't know her, but she is friends with one of my friends I never really talk to. She's really hott. Everytime I talk to a girl, it seems like I always mess it up somehow. I don't know why. I keep it very simple. Maybe my problem is I come off as I want to be your friend and not let's get together. I don't know. Ladies, what do you think? Oh, this girl has a boyfriend, but she is sending me friend request and I have never talked to her.

For starters, try thinking she may just want another friend on myspace. Why fly off the handle and assume she's looking to mess around? Take this as an opportunity to lear how to talk to a girl without the pressure of having to impress her/ask her out/etc. (A word of caution- if she is attached but starts coming on to you- run the other way.)

She has a boyfriend then forget about her for now you'll just be wasting your time and really would you appreciate a guy moving in on your girl. If she wants to talk to you it doesn't mean that she wants to hook up with you. I really think that both guys and girls really need to asses these types of situations a little bit better. Not to mention i add so many people on myspace and most of the people i add i really don't think about it all that much. I think her add means virtually nothing.

From a guy point of view and had that happen to me before. Don't reply to it at all. Since she is friends with your friend it could be a setup. If she has a boyfriend it could be to try and make him jealous in which case you don't want anything to do with her anyhow

"I want to be your friend and not let's get together."
And you're assuming just like any other guy she want's to get in your pants? Typical guy. Accept her, talk to her, get to know her.
Get a girl-bestfriend. You'll be able to talk to her about anything and it'll help build your confidence when you're talking to chicks.

It deff. helped me and my best bud. he's one of the hottest guys in these towns now. all b/c of me :D well.. not really. but we helped each other get to where we are. =]

Add her as a friend, and get to know her. If she has a boyfriend, just be her friend.
