everywhere i go kids as young as 9 have gf boyfriends they all want boyfriends girlfriend in the old days in the 60s those kids would of been runing around playing not worrying about dateing and all this dumb stuff

seriously! it is getting out of hand, i mean i am only 16 but i notice it a lot, i have some after school activities that i participate in, and there are girls that are like 11-12 with more make-up on than i do, they have boyfriends, a cell phone and a myspace! it acually disgusts me, is that all life is about now? see who can put the most make up on and who can have the most boyfriends? its like they are missing out on their childhood and trying to handle things they arent ready to, and almost anyone you talk to in my high school, has already had sex, and gets drunk on the weekends...its like...what do you have to look forward to? i am tired of it all

We have made our own bed in this instance. The obcession with "hiding" everything to do with relationships between men and women has led to more curiosity. Couple that with the "glorification" of the bf/gf roles on popular media and the old "fun and games" we used to see are not as attractive to the kids.

I know this is crazy, but I'm a kid, some parents want their kids to be well- behaved and responsible so when they grow up, they know what to do and how to solve it, and also parents want them to know how it feels to be a responsible parent, and they get to have fun teasing, yep, it was the good life
