That totally depends on the drinker.

- how much caffeine are you used to
- how large are you (length and weight)
- how tired are you

All these things, and possibly more, can have effect on anything that caffeine might do for you.

In my case - which is the only thing i can say for sure - a dose of caffeine from a can of cola usually gives me a short boost for about 15 minutes - long enough for the drive home - and wears of rather quick.
I`m (alas) somewhat too heavy - 6`2" (give or take a bit) and when i take the cola, i`m usually coming home from a night shift, so rather tired.

Well the energy boost will crash out at about 1-2 hours after drinking it. You cannot donate blood for at least 2 weeks after drinking it. You cannot donate plasma for at least 72 hours after the last sip from the can. The damage to your red blood vessels from caffeine can last up to 3-4 months. It can also make you diabetic or Hypoglycemic. You should look this up in a search engine.

It really dosent have any effect, not at least if you drink coffee or other caffeine rich drinks regularly. Even if you dont the effect is quite marginal.

Oh, and in case you would really like to count it, you should mention your weight.
