You have just contradicted your self. You can not believe in some sort of god if you believe the world just happened. That would be like believing the dictionary came from an explosion in the library. We are the children of a Heavenly Father who provided this earth in order for us to prove ourselves worthy of returning to and being in His presents.

I personally don't like to use the word religion but in this case after looking up the word in Funk & Wagnalls Comprehensive Standard Dictionary and here is the meaning of the word religion, "A system of faith and worship. Conscientious devotion in practise; scrupulous care; piety," I would have to say that you have no religion. You do not have anyone to worship or have faith in. You do not believe in God. You believe in science. And you talk about the Big Bang theory but it is a lot easier for me to believe the Bible.

Genesis 1:1-"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." In six days God created the whole earth and everything in it. Is that not easier to believe in this than a universe exploding and the world came into being and then we started out as animals and then became human beings.

Jesus was the Son of God. Jesus came to earth and lived on the earth as you and I do now. Because he was human and God He could do anything but He chose to not use all His powers on earth but to live like everyone else did. But He did not sin or be disobeident to His Heavenly Father. So that is why He could heal people and do other miracles.

There is an after life. You have a choice heaven or hell. God doesn't want anyone to go to hell except Satan and his angels. But those who don't believe in Jesus as God's Son who came to earth to die for their sins and then was buried and rose again will go to hell. Those who believe in Jesus as the Son of God and that He did die for their sins and rose again will be able to be with God the Father in Heaven and become part of God's family. Because of Adam taking of the fruit in which God told Him not to (sin) then the whole world is born with a sin nature and are seperated from God. But Jesus came and died so we might be able to live and be with God and not go to hell.

Must be you have meet some Christians who have been a little over bearing in telling you the gospel or you have seen they have not lived up to what they say. I am sorry to say this happens a lot. But the real point here is that Christians will sin. But it is not to be a constant thing.

Believe that there is a God. Once you do that you will have a relationship with God the Father/Creator, Jesus His Son/Savior, and the Holy Spirit/Comforter who is given to us upon salvation.

Relationship with God is what is important here. Not what people call religion. People will fail you but God will never fail you and Jesus will never leave you. You will have trials and troubles and even death might occur because of being a believer but it is far better to be with God than to be here on earth. So if death comes you will be in heaven.

I believe you are ready to read the Bible on your own. Get a Bible that is easy to read but has all the truth in it. Some Bibles today leave things out. New King James is good. Amplified Bible is good as it give you details on words. It is a little harder to understand sometimes but using it with the KJ it will help you a great deal. Then start in the New Testament and read through it. It is all good.

I'd say you worship yourself, that you are your own god. So insert your name and add -eist to the end of it and that is your religion.
