me and my boyfriend of 7 years just broke up 6 days ago well last night i went out to the bars and ended up havin the after party at my house i ended up doing something that i wish never happened i messed around with this guy and he just statred dating a friend that i have been hanging out with for the past month or so me and this guy have known each other at least 10 years and he is best friends with my ex should i keep it quite or tell all

KEEP QUIET! Who needs to know? What good would it do to tell anyone? If you really need to talk about it, find a counselor or write it down in a journal. I have secrets that I haven't shared directly with anyone. Sometimes, it is hard, but telling things that may hurt someone else is just pointless. Keep it in and hope that it doesn't come out. If it does, deny it. No one else knows (hopefully) and it will be your word against his. Oh, and don't let it happen again. Go have fun, party, but try not to hook up with guys that are spoken for! I completely understand though. I'm not judging. I probably would have done the same thing. Subconsciously you may have been trying to get back at your ex or you may have had the hots for his best friend all along. Try not to think about it too much, and move on. Life is too short!

I think if you feel like the info may somehow get around, you should be the first to be honest and just tell it, but if you think the it'll stay concealed, keep it that way.
