hi, my hair is wavy, a little bit more on the curly side, I was wondering what kind of straightner do you recommend I buy? I have used sooo many, and yes they are been okay, but I want one that does it really straight, thank you.

One with a ceramic plate so you don't fry your hair. Jibere de Paris is a must have! Not pricey either!

Hi--:)
The hair straightener i use is from Revlon.
It works great too and its afforable.
But many people use the Chi and its expensive.

But i find Revlon works just as good as the Chi.
I found mines a little chic shop in Miami for about $35.00 [it was on sale]
But you can buy this flat ironer at Target or Wal-amrt.
Maybe you should try this one.
Its a little cheaper than mines too

you need a straightner with cermaic so the heat can make your hair smooth and straight.

I'm prefacing this by saying that I have wavy, thick hair that for years I could not straighten just right. But this straightener changed my freaking life.

It's called NanoTech Tools by Jilbere de Paris, and you can find it at a Sally Beauty Supply store.

Here's a link: http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1650/345104

They go for around $90-$100 but they're worth it!

The brand is Jilbere de Paris, the model is Ceramic Tools— Tourmaline Series. I bought it for $70 at Sally Beauty Supply and it's great! my hair is very stubborn and i can get it to be strip straight with it. Also, the fact that it's Tourmaline is good because it doesn't damage your hair as much as regular irons do.

CHI makes a really good one. my best friend has curly hair, and when she uses her CHI iron you would never believe she has naturally curly hair because it gets it so straight.
you can buy them at Trade Secret in the mall.
Good Luck!
