I have always thought that evolution was a religion, but many say it is not....
So what is it?
A cult?
A Myth?
It is not science, i know that for a fact.... So what is it?

So evolution is science? How did u come upon that lie? Did u do your homework as a student?

wikipedia: i have and they seem to think it is a fact? Shouldn't u at least have to know one thing about something before u write it?

I have studied it in school, i went to some college seminars, internet and books, including the Origin of Species,
then i studied Creation, and it made much more sense and i think it is the truth not evolution....

It is a religion even if they don't realize it..
It picks and chooses the scientific facts that it likes and ignores what it doesn't .. It is some of the facts that seem to point to the end that they have pre-chosen.
The end being a world that is not created by God.
This allows man to rule himself according to his own beliefs.
For instance the analyzing of the fossil evidence is done with the idea that the earth has always had the same amount of carbon radiation and that allows them to date the bones. The fact is that this is a false assumption. In the pre flood world everything was very different from what we have now and the measurements can not be constant.
You may date the bones at millions of years, but the dating method is flawed so it is not valid.. Adam being a created adult had the appearance of age but would have tested as having lived for years. The world also being created in a short period of time would test as having many years.. The whole theory is flawed because it is based on the idea that there is no GOD. and then trys to prove that GOD doesn't exist.. How sad..

So your study of evolution led you to conclude that it is not a science? I'd sue the instructor! Have you ever heard of antibiotic resistant germs? They are real, and they prove evolution occurs, and quickly in human terms.
Try reading "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, it may change your mind (but probably not).
It is possible that (as the Bible says) the world was created some 6000 years ago, complete with the fossil record we can dig up anywhere. There is some probability that this happened. However since physics, biology, and evolution make it possible that everything happened naturally (no direct intervention by God) we can estimate that probability. Hopefully you don't reject statistics as a math construct.
The short answer is that it is much more probable that the earth was created some 4 Billion years ago and that life evolved as the scientists say. This would seem to indicate that the good people who wrote the Bible 2000 years ago were unaware of the cosmological knowledge we've gained in the last century.
The good news is that evolution is not done with us yet. Children in the future will be better prepared for the world then us, societies will advance, and humans will become smarter and more compassionate. What's wrong with that theory?

Observations made billions of years after the fact does not constitute fact. It is at best a supposition.
Yeah, I know, all your science teachers believe in it, so what?
What our minds are capable of conceiving is not evolution.
Mixing of the races that causes half breeds is expected but it is not evolution.
Two Mesopotamians having a black child is not evolution.
If I was an Atheist, I could not believe in evolution any more than I could believe in a mythical God. It is bogus science.
Observations by a naturalist does not give credence to evolution.
There is definitely a cult around evolution and Dawkins is one of the members of the cult.
As to the history of Egypt.
The need to have a single authority to manage the waters of the Nile led to the creation of the world's first state in Egypt in about 3000 BC.

it is a theory, an idea, a hypothesis, a possibility, a truth (to some), a lie (to others), a unit in science class, a question, an answer, a life long search, a thought, a study, an uncertainty, an inquiry, a subject of importance, a difficulty, an issue, a query, a solution, a response, a reality, a fact, a story, a fib, a generalization, a notion, a concept, an opinion, a philosophy.

Charles Darwin, a world acclaimed naturalist went to the galapogos and noticed the fact that similar animals that he had seen elsewhere in the world also exsisted ont those islands... he saw several different varieties of finches... iguanas that could swim... penguins on the equator... and many other strange occurences for animals. That is what gave him the idea of evolution. It is evident all around us... especially when one considers the evolution of the mind. We have gone from using bone tools and nothing else to building jet planes that can go several times the speed of sound. We also have found that we dont have any use for such parts of our bodies as the appendix. That is some form of evolution... also if u consider the fact that when u mix 2 people of different cultures, the baby comes out different than both of them... the passing of genetic traits in itself is a form of evolution.

Your fact is off. Evolution is a scientific theory supported by multitudes of fossil evidence and most recently by studies of DNA. It's profoundly spiritual to think that all species on this planet have common ancestry and of the ways that our universe can create elegance through atoms and chemical processes.
"We are a way for the Cosmos to know itself. " -Carl Sagan
To your education I refer you to the National Academy of Sciences, which has created a broad education program in evolution for the layperson. It also points out some of the factual disparities in creationism or intelligent design:

Evolution is a theory.
There are those who place a degree of faith that the theory is true but there is no worship of the concept that is common, although I suspect that there is a cult of one sort or another around evolution.

Evolution is a scientific THEORY. A scientific theory is a hypothesis with a lot of evidence to back it up, but not quite enough evidence to make it a FACT.
Edit: but if it is more believable for you to think that mankind came from years and years of incest and inbreeding (as Cain and Abel would have had to sleep with their mother Eve so the species could propogate), or that the earth is only about 6,000 years old (when the Egyptian civilization has been around for longer), go right ahead and believe the fairy tale that is Creation.

It is the entire basis for modern Biology. It is science. There is absolutely NO debate about it among scientists other than minor details of the mechanism. Everything that biology has done in the past 100 years has been built on it.
If you think there is, try to find one Biology professor at a major research university, or a single paper in a peer reviewed journal that goes against the big idea. You won't have any luck.

evolution is a path of logic agree upon by many to cover up all the holes they see in their misguided attempts to bring God down to a level where man can understand him. If they can understand God, then he would not really be God, would he? so they go about unceasing trying to promote theories this and theories that , that all have holes themself and science cannot patch. But, because we as man, eminent, learned and prestigious as we are, agree to agree on this faulty logic, that makes it fact and by default science.Take a step back and get the big picture.Let God be God,and we can be mere mortal's and enjoy his vast creation, without trying to usurp it.
