there's this guy i like and i notice just recently that when he sees me and we make eye contact the iris of his eyes get darker and bigger can this mean that he might be interested in me?

In the world of today, the eyes lie the most. People wear a lot of contact lenses.
Okay now, what if he is seeing something wrong about you and has no courage to say it. It has happened to a someone I know before. His own was that he only got to know that the girl has seen him with an open zipper before.
If he really wants you, next time you see him, avoid his eyes and stop flirting with him.
Let him come and get what he wants.

When someone's iris gets larger, it means that they're looking at something that doesn't reflect a lot of light.

wow, that's pretty observant! I would need my reading glasses to see that...plus peering into his eyes might be a bit disconcerting!
I think mine do that, when I enter a dark room.
