Follow these steps
(Step 1) Cut your hair. The secret to long hair? Strong hair. And that means getting rid of all damaged ends.
(Step 2) Eat right. "You know That expression "You are what you eat"? Well, it happens to be true. Hair can only stay long and healthy if you eat well-balanced meals. Foods rich in vitamin A (dairy products, fish, spinach, apricots), vitamin B (meat, fish, bananas, leafy green veggies), vitamin C (citrus, melon, tomatoes and potatoes) and vitamin E (nuts, broccoli, whole grains) are essential for truly healthy hair. Red meat is rich in iron and zinc, two nutrients proven to help your hair grow its fastest.
(Step 3) Stress less. Studies show that hair actually grows slower when you are stressed to the max. Your hair also needs a good night's sleep.
(Step 4) Keep your hair clean. Oily roots and product build-up can clog follicles and prevent your hair from growing as quickly as possible--the max is about a half-inch per month.
that help?

Are u a guy or girl?
But it doesnt really matter--:)

In order to grow your hair long and healthy, you must follow a daily routine to make it work.

-drink healthy fluids and lots of water. About 2-3 bottles of water everyday, it's healthy everywhere for you and it makes your skin healthy and glow.

-avoid blow-dryers and flat ironers. and chemicals, such as gel and hairspray. But if u need to, then go ahead.

-wash your hair every other day with a good shampoo and conditoner.

-eat healthy

-if u know any Indian communites or a health store around your area, try to find coconut oil.
It has been proven to grow hair and prevent spilt ends and its like a healthy moistruizer for your hair.
Get a brand of coconut oil called "parachute". My mom use to put this in my hair and sister's hair too and my hair has grown a few inches in a few months. I've seen the results.

But the bad benefits of coconut oil are making your hair greasy and look shiny but dont worry, its healthy for you and wont harm your hair if you know when to use it.

HOW TO PUT COCONUT OIL IN HAIR:
Warm the coconut oil over the stove for a few min. No mircowave because it could explode.

Then, massage it gently in your scalp for about 5-7 minutes.
Put a plastic cap over your head.
Sleep with it in.
Wash it out nice and clean next morning.

Do this routine twice a week for results, dont do it more than twice a week or it will make your hair very greasy.

I know this seems like a lot but its the way to get very clean, fit, and healthy hair and if you want to grow it out.
Also get trims every 6 weeks.
Oh and many people us coconut oil, so dont worry.
Especially people in Asia and India, why do you think Indian girls hair is so long and thick?
Because they use it

One thing you can do is a lot of activity to your scalp.
Massage it a lot , when shampooing or just watching television or such.
Also brushing it helps it to grow too.
Its the stimulation of the scalp and the blood flow to the hair folicles and such.
A good conditioner.
And of course all these things work even better if you have someone to brush and massage and shampoo you sometimes.
Some say trimming helps a lot. I'm not sure on that, but they do say so.

The natural oils will help to nourish it and keep it looking shiney. They will also help it grow as drying out your hair with shampoo will slow it down. I find using hot oil treatments help to repair my hair after straightening or abuse from the hairdryer. I do this sort of treatment at least every fortnight. I use Lee Statford's growth treatment between my shampoo and conditioner to help keep my hair at a steady growth rate and add nutrients to the ends that dry out the quickest. I would recommend a good quality hairbrush, remember never brush wet hair, always comb and never comb dry hair always brush. My favorite brush is the denman large paddle brush which is so gentle and efficient. Invest in good quality shampoo and conditioner. High street brands contain the same ingredients as washing up liquid ...YUCK! Finally, use gentle hairgrips and hairbands and not one with evil metal bits in them. This will break you hair and leave it looking damaged. Regular trims and a healthy diet will also keep your hair looking its best.

* Don't cut it for a while.
* Get hair extentions.
* Cut it at the ends every now and then to avoid split ends.
* Wear a wig ?

stimulation to the scalp and hair follicles increase blood flow to make hair grow so you can get scalp massages/scalp treatments. lots of water. good health. don't use excessive heat on it.(blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron, tanning bed) all those affect your hair. good luck

look after it. I don't get it cut so often, and make sure you know a hairdresser that will only nip the ends off so this will help.
