I was offered a journalism job in the Marines, they just seem like a bunch of "meatheads", I don't think I would like that. Somebody tell me if I am making a mistake not taking this job.

If you think Marines are meat heads you definitely don't want to become one. If you have already finished college you need to start contributing to any paper that will let you. If still in school join school paper great experience.

Sounds like you have got the 'journalism' thing down pat. Make sweeping generalizations based on your political opinions and present them as fact.
Why don't you just act like the rest of the journalists and say whatever the democratic party tells you to?
