I watch 100% of the televised laps. It doesn't make you a lose, it makes you a fan! When I go to a race, I don't leave my seat, even under caution.

I tivo, the race and usually start watching it about an 1 or 2 after it starts. I fast forward the commercials and if the race is boring I will fast forward a lot of laps. Many times if i start an hour and a half into the race, I catch up before the end.

I save my Sunday's for two things. Lesson planning and NASCAR. Watching the race gives me a few hours where I know I will be sitting still in one place. I use this time to lesson plan (I'm a teacher) and watch the race. I'm pretty good at multi-tasking! I watch every televised lap. Twice a year, I'm at the Texas race APRIL and NOVEMBER...and yes..I watch EVERY lap...

No, if a guy is hooked up and stinking up the show by leading I turn it off and wait until the closing parts if its a race like Daytona or Talladega of Lowe's sure I'll watch them because they have prestige. I like to watch the close end like 100 laps to go. There's less give and take.

Well considering that about 30 or 40 % of the race is the commercials then you miss another 5 or 10 % on the trivia(or trivial info). So you only get to see about half the race anyway.
That's all I have to say about that.

It's like any sport you're passionate about-when you're in the zone, you are the authority no matter the audience! My cat was my best critic-He would demonstrate the crashes with uncanny acuratecie! If I cursed a true contender,He would claw me!If I was right with a prediction He would toss me a snack! When his favorite lost he would shred a curtain. If my favorite won he would kneed my shoulders. A loser is one who does not share his passions! No matter the audience!

I don't always watch all the laps. It depends on the track and how good the racing is.

I like to take a nap in the middle of the race. I record the race on my DVR, just in case.
Sometimes, I don't watch it at all. Sometimes, I listen on the radio.

even when you watch nascar, life happens! you gotta do what you gotta do, and if that means you can't watch all the laps, at least you watch what you can. that doesn't make you a looser by any means.
