I am of The Lore. We study all of the above and many more. There are truths to be found in amongst the usual chaff.

I was a spiritual drifter until I came across ECKANKAR, a religion that teaches how to attain spiritual freedom by visiting heaven while still living on earth. Unlike other religions that I know, Eckankar recognizes the sanctity of every religion, so it does not 'convert' anyone; rather it makes you a better person in whatever religion you choose to practice.
My decision to become a student of Eckankar is the best I have taken so far.

I was raised in a Christian household, but I started to study Buddhism and found that it fit me better. I think religon is a very personal choice that one must search theirselves for. My family understands why I believe in Buddhism and how it has effected me as a person and they are fine with it. My parents still go to church but, my father has taken an interest in Buddha's teachings. He feels that you can "study" any religon to help learn about your own. I never say that any religon is wrong or right again it is a personal choice, and a very deep life changing choice for that person.

Zip - I'm an atheist. There are *no* supernatural or mystical elements at all. What with the BB and the ToE, one of the few unanswered questions is OOL. And I can easily live with a few unanswered questions, including life's start. TYVM.
On second thought, *I do believe* that religion made a whole lot more sense when we thought we were the very Centre of the Universe, and when we believed that we were not animals, and when we thought our star was different from all the other stars, and when we thought that our planet was the *only one*.

I believe in God.
P.S. i totally agree with Ayaz A that all religions come from God and all directs us to God and are a way to reach the Divine Father. And also, it's a major fact that today everybody need to be aware of because all wars and conflicts on the name of religion, to me, are all pointless without reason. Because one say I worship Allah then other shouts Jesus Is Your Lord and start fighting. It's pointless. Truth is both are the same. And to all, who read my answer, please try to see on the bright side of it and think about it.

i believe in freedom, which means not having to be restricted to any religion, and i believe in facts, which means thinking through what people are trying to pour in my head and realizing that the idea of god just doesn't make any sense. after all, trying to tell me that there is this giant blown-up angelic dude with enough time and energy to constantly stare at everyone and solve everyone’s problems.....goes a bit beyond unreasonable

"Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days. "
