black pudding should Never be boiled, it will blow apart and you'll have a mess. Simmer fresh black pudding for about 30 - 45 minutes until it is firm.

If you bought it in ashop then it just has to be grilled baked or fryed for about 10 minutes. It has already been boiled in the pork factory. If you have made it from scratch (brave man) boil it for about 10 mins then simmer for 20 mins, depending on how big it is....but you must grill, bake or fry it's disgusting just boiled.

NEVER BOIL IT!!!!!!!!
you should fry it, first bacon, then eggs then mushrooms and or onion, last you should fry the pudding, depending on how you like it. my hubby likes really thick wedges, so i do it untill the surface on both sides are crispy, and just starts to crumble off(he likes it to still be quite pink inside) but make sure it is heated right through to the middle. i like mine thin. so i leave it in until it is just a crumbly mess in the pan and i have to spoon it out onto a plate, instead of using the spatula.

depends on the type of pudding - if you mean the horseshoe links about 45 minutes or until the skin starts to turn greyish and split if you need to make sure - remember lots and lots of mustard

You shouldn't boil it at all, unless you're making it from scratch.
Most black pudding you buy, either cake or the sausage shaped ones should be sliced and fried.
