One cup of coffee won't hurt you, as far as fruit, you didn't say what kind, nor how much. Oatmeal is good. You need more protein in there somewhere, like a small breakfast steak. 5 to 6 oz. I will say this as an ex long distance runner that riding a bike would be better for you. Jogging is very hard on your ankles and knees and hips and you will pay the price when you get older. Riding a bike will also give your body a better workout and use more muscles.
Also, eating something in between breakfast and lunch is good for your body. It is better to eat several small meals through out the day than just a few large ones.
Do you do any supplements? If so, are they organic?

That sounds like a really healthy breakfast. There are starches in the oatmeal and sugar in the fruit, protein in the eggs and nothing bad in the coffee.
You don't say if your goal is to maintain your current weight or to gain or loose weight or if you want to build muscle or what. These things would impact how much more of any food group you might wantto have before your jog.
But...if you get home starving or light headed you could add raisins or bananas to the oatmeal or some wheat toast to the meal.

This is a good breakfast. The only modification I would recommend is skipping the coffee. The caffeine and other agents in the coffee are harsh on the stomach.
Instead of adding more carbohydrates I would add additional protein. Protein is the first building block of the body and the most needed first thing in the morning. Perhaps some yogurt or low fat milk.
Good for you for making changes in your life.
If you have any further questions please let me know.

Have either the egg or oatmeal, or altranate, one day have a boiled egg and a slice of whole wheat toast and some fruit and coffee, and the other day have oatmeal and a cup of coffee.

Sounds great! You'll know if you'll get a good workout because by the end of your jog, you wouldn't feel hungry. You don't need to add anything else. Carb level is fine.
I run over 2 hours a day and I usually eat a bowl of cereal, a muffin, with some fruit and its sufficient. I don't feel famished afterwards.

Ahh such a number of innovations...specific muesli, low fats yoghurt and clean fruit is a huge one-crammed with supplements and minerals and low GI so this is going to shop you feeling complete for hours. terrific yoghurts are low fats without extra sugar like yoplait no fats or nestle eating ordinary. yet you will desire to combine issues up...an egg, baked beans and grilled tomato on a bite of wholegrain toast is yummy too (crammed with fibre, protein and supplements). in case you sense like some thing easy and summery attempt a house made fruit smoothie-i admire banana, strawberries, low fats milk...if its all you're having why not throw in an egg white for extra protein and a scoop of low fats ice cream or vanilla yoghurt and a few ice cubes of direction! There truly are such a number of innovations as quickly as you start up finding. stable success!

Id reccommend making two hard boiled eggs and removing the yolks, than it becomes a fat free/cholesterol free egg(s). All protein!
If you use milk in the oatmeal, use skim or 1%.
Use fat free creamer. people areso crazy about carbs, they are fine, nothing in excess is great, eat your carbs, have a bagel or toast or french toast with egg whites and skim milk. I lost 22 lbs and am now 108lbs and I eat lots of carbs, its all in how you prepare things and the amounts you take in.
BTW, coffe assists in weight loss.

Fuel up with some water before and after your "Zazen" (Sitting in silence).
Also, consider changing it (breakfast) around, the same food everyday is not good.
One day do some yogort and granolla.
The other day,
Make a sandwich with: Fresh Indian Green Chutney Paste, Cheese and cutcumbers. Hmmm.

without knowing everything else you eat & do in the day, and not knowing your size & physical condition.....
Coffee doesn't really provide you with any nutritional value. Juice? Milk? Don't worry about carb counting. Just eat balanced meals -veggees, fruits, grains, etc. Cut out the junk food & processed foods.

Sounds very healthy. I suppose if you're eating the yolk, you might want to just stick with the egg white, the white is pure protein so eat two!!! and perhaps go decaf on the coffee.
