Are they both girls? If so it's probably just normal. I used to take showers with my friends [girls] when I was around that age. I don't think that there is really anything wrong with that. They will probably grow out of it soon. :]

I am happy to know I do not have friends that have to go public, scrutininzing something that can have a natural time frame that comes to an end. All of my friends know that they can come to me with their concerns, even about me. Maybe that is what you should be doing with your friend.

Imagine taking a communal shower after gym class and in my case in the military. I still got myself cleaned properly because it was natural. In those communal showers there was a spot at the top of the wall to find. Just figured I would give you another thought to get all excited about.

I showered with my girlfriends until we were about 10. Then one day we became, naturally, uncomfortable and so decided not to shower together anymore. Before that we weren't even aware of our nudeness/sexuality.

As long as they both have a healthy view of their bodies and healthy relationships I wouldnt worry too much.

And of course, whomever the child's caretaker is, should be familiar with the other childs family and upbringing.

well if it gets a bit concerning have a word with the mother of the other child.
the main thing is THERE GETTING A SHOWER its a nightmare in my house when i mention the word bath or shower.

there just innocent and children
however it will have to come to an end

i remeber being scared of the bath and my mum used to have to sit in with me then eventually it ended up sitting in the room then sitting outside the room and now as i grew older i use the same technique with my kids

Its normal to the kids if the parents allow it. Is it appropriate? NO WAY. Children are aware of their body parts by around 3-5 yrs. and should have already learned that there are certain parts of their body that are private to others.

That is perfectly normal. It shouldnt be a problem for right now. But they need to have a tlk so that they know by the time their ten, thats enough of that. Ur body is private.

Ummmmmmmm, NO. Lying together naked????? NOT. What is wrong with your friend that she allows this? That is actually a form of child abuse.

They'll grow out of it, since they're friends they'll want to do a lot of things together. If they don't grow out of it by 10 there's a problem.
