wherrymans way in norfolk
It goes from norwich to gt yarmouth following the river one side and the railway on the other
Thus you are alone but never far from a village or train but it is beautiful , quiet with the amazing norfolk big skies
The section across the marshes at halvergate with a pub by a windpump in the middle of nowhere, only accessible by boat or foot is truly stunning

I wouldnt recommend a 20 mile hike anywhere!! But if you must do these things, check out the peak district. Very beautiful but wait until the weather improves a bit. Good luck.

Well 20 miles is long walk, and if you're not used to walking long distances, thats killer. But if you are from somewhere in the middle of the States, then remember England has a really low elevation and you won't run out of breathe easily.

Fleetwood to St. Anne's, down the coast through Blackpool. I once did a 20 mile, 20 pubs hike starting in Fleetwood. best day of my life.
