My only concern would be sun damage. Try as I might, my arms below the t-shirt line still see some sun, and I'd be concerned that it'd fade the ink.
I'm find exposing my ink to normal (not tanning) artificial light, campfires & moonlight. That big glowie daystar is too much.
Otherwise, cool. I'd want to work it into the theme of my back, but that's purely opinion.
With respect to tats in the workplace: I keep hearing "oooh, you'll never get work, you'll get fired, etc", but then I keep hearing about places that would fit that mold in which co-workers are fine. Although I wouldn't be surprised to find it's an issue in some, I suspect it's mostly fear, ignorance & kneejerk reactions for many. How do you know unless you ask/experience it, and how many have done that? Even more important, who has researched how many places could legally discriminate in this way?

Full sleeves on women are repulsive. Why can't people just love and appreciate the look of the skin they were born with?? It's one helluva lot more attractive to me than the ink that they put in their skin. And ladies, your husbands HAVE TO say good things about whatever you do, don't they? You're too insecure and petty to respect whatever makes your partner happy. They can't have a mind of their own, because you're too self-conscious to take any criticism to heart. That's what makes your generation weak. You can't handle being wrong, so you make everything far too easy for yourselves. This way, you can't get hurt. But, you will never grow beyond what you are. Personally, what you all are is pretty childish.

Just go for it! Corporate America can just stick it in their collective ear when it comes to tattoos. As long as you still look professional and cover them when you have to, I say go for it. One day, they will realize that your brain has not leaked out your ears because you have a tattoo:) Personally? If the sleeve is good art, I think they are awesome! I'm getting myself some sleeves soon:)

It is something that I have thought of doing as well but I also would like to have a combination of a Imperial Dragon and Coy on my back. I have been inked 3x
But for you, if you do not mind wearing long sleeves to work, go for it.

i think it would great. I am thinking of doing the same. right now i am working on my leg. it is almost finished and will be almost entirely covered when i am done. I will never regret it cause i love it. started when i was 15 and now am 26. I think sometimes that they will affect what job i have, but a job is not a life, and i love tattoos that is who i am, so if someone doesn't want to hire me because of it i just think to myself that they are missing out on a really great employee. ME! go for it you only live once, and people die everyday you never know when it will be your turn!

I love tattoos, but I'm not all too fan of sleeves. I think it depends on what kind of sleeve you are getting. Like for example, Ville Valo (lead singer of the band H.I.M.) has a sleeve of flames up his arm. I find it UGLY AS HELL.

Sleeves are hot.
Make sure you work in a industry that doesn't have an issue with that kind of ink.

I thought about getting a couple tattoo's myself, but If i were u I wouldn't get ur whole arm sleeved. I think thats 2 much, but that's just my opinion. Maybe some here and there on ur arms, but not ur whole arms. That wouldn't look 2 attractive, Sry! LOL!

I have a friend who has his arms and his back done. It looks good. Tatooing is a form of art and personal style. If you want to get this done then you should. I think it looks good though. He has flames on his arms and they look very tasteful.

I think that if a man(or woman) has good pieces of art covering their "Sleeve" area, it is admirable and VERY sexy. Go for it.
