If you knew then what you know now, what would you do differently? If you could go back to a certain age and start over, what age - and would you do it?

If you think about the past, if you decide to go to that party on weekend 1999 would you have met your current partner that you met in 2001?
If you studied for that test extra hard to get an A+ in high school, sure maybe you'd be a big time CEO today, but would you be healthy???

If you want to change the past you have to give up _everything_ that you have today. So sure you can go to the past and buy MicroSoft for $10, but you won't marry the same person, you won't have the same family you won't this and that.

If you really feel like you've made some poor choices in the past you can only change the future.

But even then, you still can't see into the future so even if you make a "good" choice today 10 years from now you'll still wonder what if I had made option B, would things have been better....

If I knew what I know today, I would of given myself and my first love a chance. I messed things up, and even though we can't go back, I pray that someday I can meet him again and explain things, and maybe be given a second chance.

Regret is pointless- you learn from mistakes and the real strength is in not repeating them and repenting / making up for the ones you did make- trying to rewrite the script after it has played out is foolish.
