No offense, but if it were me getting the poem, I would be flattered, but I probably wouldn't be able to take you seriously xD Unless, of couse, you're an amazing writer who doesn't use icky cliches to talk about love.

Absolutely-!! girls LOVE poetry--U did the right thing--always make it mushy and cushy --they love it--i fell into the trap my then fiance and now husband sent me his poem--hmmmmmm!! wonderful--All those lies that U actually thought were for U--neways it worked!! give her some romantic music to listen to

no longer all females like poetry ... some females like it, others are not getting it and locate it uninteresting, complicated, or stressful. in case you're uncertain flow with something else, like Chocolate, candy or Jewelery ! :) besides the fact that it is so candy what ur doing for her :) good success ! :)

not always. honestly i think that it is cute to some extent but now it sorta seems corny. a song that you cn sing to her would have been better. but some girls think that it is cute and romantic but some dont. what was her reaction to it?
